Peter you came into my life when I was about 9 or10 and you and Joanie became or Uncle Pete and Aunty Joan even though we were not relatives. You introduced Dad to tick and carry as you called it and we all looked forward to going to it every time we visited to get a bargain. We spent many a Easter holiday with you as I was growing up and later to this day looked forward to going to visit for our annual holiday. When I married you welcomed Jamie as one of your family and helped us out as a young couple starting out in life. When we had our children you treated them as grandchildren and enjoyed telling them your dirty ditties much to their enjoyment.Peter it’s hard to believe that your gone and I will miss you very very much even though you were a very stubborn man at times.(lol). I will cherish all the memories of your visits to Rocky Springs as I was growing up and all the fun times we had . Rest In Peace Uncle Pete Love Leslie

Fond memories of our family involvement with Peter over the years. It was always interesting to see what "Treasures " he had found at the Trash & Treasure Market. We still have in our safe keeping the Red Bull that he gave us whilst still living in Sydney. Peter, we will Treasure Your Memory Always,

Uncle Peter, time has been our enemy.
My best memories, still are spending time with you and dad, fishing, camping or making something.
You made Macgyver look like an amateur, you could build anything, probably singing a funny song, and dancing while doing it, all with a smile. You never asked for anything, always the first to show up to help.
I still have the tools you engraved for me, 43 years ago, and while you will no longer be here in person, I’ll always remember you.
See you again some day…

Sorry to hear of the death of Peter. We have great memories of Peter and his late wife Joanie. All three generations of my family have wonderful memories of him when he lived in Sydney and also when he moved to Sanctuary Point. We will cherish the photos of his beloved car, his tour of Sydney and also the fishing trip he took us on at Sanctuary Point.
Peter was not a blood relative but he was like one of our family and we always enjoyed a visit from him when he was home in Scotland and also the Hogmanay phone calls.
Gone but will never be forgotten
