Col - the first person we got to know when moving into the Heads. Loved meeting/chatting to Col when walking the dogs, our Rosie used to think a lift in the golf cart was a treat. Problem now is she try’s to get in any golf cart she sees even with strangers, god bless you Col and condolences to your family

My sincere condolences to the Waller family. Col, you were a star that shone brightly within the hotel industry. Your ability to defuse emotional conflicts and create value for all transcended typical approaches. I treasured your generosity of time and advice, and I will never forget it. Thanks for the legacy and impact on those, like myself, you invested within.

In Memory of Colin
A great friend who had time and patience for everyone at every turn. Col had a large social network which is a testimony of the high regard that many had for him and for his generosity and hospitality that he shared with his many friends. He was the consummate host, always quick to cater for other people’s needs and enjoy the chance to catch up over a meal or to offer a night or two of accommodation.
Colin it was a pleasure to have known you, to have called you a friend and shared a lot of great social occasions, sporting events and parties. You were an inspiration who we will sorely miss and will not forget. RIP Colin. Tori and Brian

From the 1970s playing touch football at Balmoral Beach to the Shoalhaven pub and all the “Boys Christmas Lunches” in between Col was the glue to keep all of us in contact. When you talked to Col he always made you feel important - worth listening too. For all the fun times Col you will be forever missed.
Carol fondly remembers being invited to play in weekly squash matches with 'the boys'. Colin was forever the gentleman but also competitive and showed why he was good at sport. I was pleased to be one of Colin's girls' and we have wonderful memories of staying at his hotel.
Colin's cheeky smile, laughing eyes and dry sense of humour will be greatly missed.

Robbie and Andy, I can not speak highly enough of the man in your lives. Col taught me to understand community comment, bureaucracy, the art of lobbying, and the subtleness of negotiation. I always found that when talking with Col I would come away with a new idea or thought. He just had a knack of providing another view point or idea that was not previously considered. He looked into to issues and thought deeply to investigate solutions. I will miss his 'little chats' and input.
I know that I am a better person for knowing him and I will miss him.
Julie and I will not be able to attend the celebration of Col's life, but we will be tuned into to the live stream.
A sad time for this community.
