Graham was a great friend to myself and my friend Kevin Pattison. We knew Graham who we affectionately called "C. Lord" both from Katoomba High School and Katoomba Golf Club. In particular we had a couple of great years where we won the Silver Cup (1976) and the Silver Tankard where we got our photos in the local Gazette News Paper (see the attached photo). One of my fondest memories was having a video night with him when we watched Steve Martin's "The Man with Two Brains" where we literally laughed ourselves silly, everytime I drive past his former home in Leura I fondly remember him and that night. It is a great shame that we fell out of touch as our lives moved on."

I will always remember the warm welcome when I spoke to Graham at school. Graham gave it his best shot and deserved a much longer retirement.

Fond memories of house-sharing with Graham at Leura in 1977 and catching up in more recent years at Lake Conjola. He was a gifted and generous teacher with a clever wit who enjoyed the company of people and a good round of golf. I hope your family takes comfort in the many heartfelt messages and memories shared by colleagues, former students and friends from the Blue Mountains. Graham has made a difference in this world. May he Rest In Peace.

GC was a terrific mentor - a great teacher & a man who always wore shorts - no matter how cold the Katoomba Winters were. RIP GC.

Such sad news. Only wonderful memories of Graham as an excellent & caring teacher, role model & mentor to many, smooth swinging golfer, great sense of fun, someone who loved a beer & was up for a chat into the wee hours. The only man to wear short more than me in Winter in the Mountains! What a tremendous loss. Condolences to friends & family who will miss him greatly. RIP old mate x

Very sad time. Graham was a great year master, inspirational English teacher, motivational mentor, a great friend and an absolute legend golfing colleague. Graham you always knew how to bring light and happiness in any situation. Was an absolute honor to have known you both as a teacher and friend. Many old golfers from the mountains are sad at you leaving us but so honoured and full of warm emotion that we had the opportunity to have known you. RIP mate.

have had a wonderful career in education as a teacher and Headmaster. I would never have had this opportunity if Graham has not convinced my father to let me go in to year 11. Dad needed convincing of the value of education. Graham them taught me to respect and work to you potential. Thank you Graham for being so influential in my life and all the students I have tried to inspire as you inspired me.
And the occasional beer and glass of wine
