Ricky was a teammate of mine at nowra cricket club a few years ago and it was always good seeing him take a couple of wickets or hit a boundary.

We are so sorry for your loss. We will never forget the first father son cricket competition. It was one of the funniest seasons ever. I really enjoyed collaborating with you, when you made that short film and I wrote the soundtrack. I initially took up the chance to work with you just as a personal interest project and you INSISTED on paying me $200, I even tried to barter you down to $50 saying I cant possibly charge you that much, but you said no and I tried to barter you down to $100 but you gave me $200 and would not allow otherwise. Amonst other memories, this just goes to show what a kind, thoughtful person you are. It sucks that your not here anymore so I hope that you are at peace now. I hope we meet again.

Miss you bro, we’ve been friends since kindy we always had each others back we got some great memories of playing handball, cricket, footy, going to the movies, hanging out drinking and playing video games. Doesn’t feel real anymore... just if I made some contact or had some sort of contact with you to just shoot you a message everyday to make sure your ok. The memories we had will never be forgotten. I know I'll never forget the time you stayed the night at mum's house and we watched the movie 'Scream' and then ran around the house yelling "THE KILLER!" "ITS THE KILLER!", scaring eachother. I have no idea where our parents were but that night was hilarious! I'll also never forget how omy and opa used to make fun when you said you were "bored". I know life and distance meant we didn't see eachother all that often but I'll miss you dearly cous, until we meet again.

My deepest condolences to the family. I am deeply saddened that this has happened and reading "finally free" is fitting as I've known Ricky for over 4 years.
A little memory of Ricky when we did Fall of the Forest, which was a short film outlining depression. We worked hard on it, we created memories and I enjoyed our chats even at 2am :)
