To my darling brother. I always called you Darling as a child. You had your troubles but the one thing no one could say you weren’t, was how kind you were! David would give you his last dollar, the shirt off his back or the food off his plate and ask for nothing in return.
Nobody could ever win an animals heart while you lived with us as kids! The pets all chose you as their human. Lady, our toy poodle, would wait for David at the front gate. She’d see him ride around the corner onto Bridge Rd and shoot off up the road to met him. He’d put her in the basket on his bike and ride home with him and not was satisfied until he did two laps of the house yard.
I know you’re at peace and getting to know your dad but I do hope Lady has buried a ton of bones in your cloud quilt for you to find at night! I miss you my darling and love you so much! Xx
