My deepest condolences to Maryan and the family. I worked with Richard from the mid 1980's and his knowledge, humour, passion for shipping and enjoyment of life will always stay with me and will be greatly missed. I always enjoyed our continued contact after he retired, even after a telephone call became a three way conversation to compensate for Richard's difficulty in hearing.
From myself and all at Odfjell that have known Richard overall these years, it is indeed very sad news and a big loss. May your seas be forever calm and the wind always at your back.
