Words can not describe the way my heart broke when I heard the news that my poppy had passed. Some of my fondest memories in my life are with you in my childhood and throughout my life. Thinking about it now me and Brad really put you though hell. Its a wonder that you didn't hate us coming down to your house.
All these memories, from hiding out at your house away from mum and dad when I was in trouble when I was little, taking me for ice cream to the corner shop and protecting me as we always walked past the terrifyingly giant dog at the house on the corner. To making you walk the whole of the Minnamurra Rainforest bush walk resulting in you not being able to walk for the next week. And then me and my brother begging you to pull us around in the water at the basin in our new blow up boat until the scars on your legs became infected.
These are just some of the many memories that I hold so dearly of us, nothing will ever take them away.
Even though you are now not hear with us, you will always live on in our hearts and prayers. You touched so many lives and non more than mine. You meant the world to me. I am so proud of the fight you put up, you are a stubborn old man.
