Our dear neighbour of twenty years, Bill was a generous, kind giant of a man who we were honoured to call a friend. Strolling up to Bill’s for a chat, with our dog Maddie racing ahead for a pat, is a memory of Bill we will all cherish. His patience and kindness were endless. I have a lovely picture in my mind’s eye of when our kids were small and they’d race up to Bill and each would hug one of his legs and sit on his boots while I chatted with Bill. He didn’t miss a beat. Our condolences to Joan and the rest of Bill’s family. Our thoughts are with you at this sad time.
