I still see you Uncle Brian in the kitchen at Deakin. Rubbing your hands together because it was so cold and the table was set and porridge on the stove. I still hear your advice that you lovingly gave me and I remember all the laughs and fun with you and Aunty Joyce when Dom and I gatecrashed Deakin - regularly. I miss those times but will always remember.
Rest peacefully and give Peter my love.

Goodbye my beautiful daddy, may the journey to heaven be quick and peaceful.
You are my hero, my teacher of love, forgiveness and compassion. You made me the woman and parent I am today.
God blessed me with the gift of memory and with this gift I will keep you by my side always...
your body grew weak even when your mind was strong. I know you were tired of fighting this tiresome fight..you always thought of others before yourself and I admire you for all the things that made you who you are..
What will I do without you, I feel empty and lost..please don’t have too much fun in heaven, don’t forget that I need you to check in on me and let me know your there.
I am truly blessed to be able to call you my dad, thank you for being you and standing strong by my side. I love you dad and will miss you so much xxx

My father is a man like no other. He gave me life, nurtured me, taught me, dressed me, fought for me, held me, kissed me, but most importantly loved me unconditionally.
There are not enough words I can say to describe just how important my father was to me, and what a powerful influence he continues to be.
