I remember when I first started at Council how I was welcomed so warmly by Rob. I was lucky to work alongside Rob for 14 years. As others have said going through life there are those who stand out, Rob was certainly one of those. It was not so much because he was a giant in the communication industry which he was but much more because he was humble, kind and generous to a fault. It was not so much his great mind but his greater heart that stands out to me. Rob was to me a living example of “how to live” and the world is a better place because of people like him.
My condolences to Ruth and the Waller family.
