My beautiful friend, with your wholesome savagery and razor sharp, quick wit that had the ability to make even the most difficult of life’s challenges seem like there was always a reason to smile. I cannot tell you how much you will be missed.
I was lucky enough to have you in my life for twenty eight years. Through those hilariously turbulent high school years, through the rocky relationships, the births of our children, the breakdowns of relationships and all the mundane moments between. I will always carry a piece of you in my heart, a friendship like that leaves a lasting impression and I will be forever thankful the universe put us together way back when.
I will miss the god awful selfies that made me laugh every single time. I’ll miss seeing your bug eyed little face pop up in my notifications with some random “psssssst” chattering. I’ll miss hearing your infectious laughter as you told me some ludicrous story of how you’d run out of petrol or a horse had stepped on your foot. I’ll miss your puppy spam. I’ll even miss the housework progress shots.
It’s not goodbye Liss, just a delayed plan to catch up again. Love ya guts girl xx
