Deepest condolences to the whole family. I only met Wendy for a short time through Meals on Wheels...but we had some great conversations about memories of my youngest brother and family. A beautiful warm hearted soul. Regards Neil Quinn

To the McKenzie family ,
My heart is with you in your time of sorrow.
I will always think of your mum fondly, she was a beautiful, strong, independent woman who always showed me great kindness.
It was a true blessing to have known her.
She was the heart and soul of the Vincentia community and will be missed greatly by everyone.
Love Raelene Boardman and family xx

Sharing a lovely memory of Wendy... our toddler Sebastian was very comfortable going next door (Towry Crescent home) with his nan Dierdre for a visit with Glen n Wendy.
Early one morning we (Peter and Cheryl) were both sound asleep and Sebastian decided he wanted an early breakfast, and so decided to toddle over on his own and knock on Wendys door. Wendy and Glenn who were early risers were perplexed as to who was knocking on their door at this early hour..upon opening the door Wendy listened to Sebastian's story of woe, how we were asleep and he needed breakfast now. Sebastian happily spent the next hour chatting to Wendy and eating a hearty breakfast she had cooked for him. We were just waking up from our blissful sleep, it was still quite early...to the sound of our doorbell. Here was Wendy with her big smile with our now well fed very happy, chatty, escapee child in tow.

Sending our loving condolences to all of the McKenzie family. Wendy was a Vincentia icon, she took an interest in everyone she met and was always ready for a chat. Brandt, myself and our 3 children, particularly Max, were all privileged to have experienced the warmth and humility which personified this amazing lady! She will live on in your hearts and memories...
