Pearl was my neighbour and friend for 23 years. I will miss our conversations and laughter together. Pearl crocheted a beautiful white baby's shawl for my first grandchild. My daughter was very touched and still has the shawl. Pearl would hang a bag full of juicy mandarins from her tree on my back gate every season for me to share with my grandchildren. I told Pearl a long time ago that I held a special place in my heart for her. Today my heart is breaking. Miss you Pearl.
