Dear Scott,
I remember the day before you passed, we were fishing and you and Jarvis had a fight. I felt so bad driving home and the moment I heard the news all I could think of was how Jarvis must have felt. I am so sorry you passed this way, and thank you for always helping everyone.

My family knew Scott for only the time he was in the U.S. as a foreign exchange student, but in those brief nine months Scott left a lasting impression of a fine young man. One who enriched our lives immensely. We are so sad to hear of a life cut short. Rest in peace our friend.

Dear Scott.
Too soon…
Although we haven't seen each other for 20 years, still remembering the time in the USA, I am glad I got to know you. You were always cheerful, friendly, from a place with the whitest sand beaches in the world and where you can see cangoroo on your way to school. Thank you for the shared moments, trips, adventures, stories and jokes.
Life defeats us all in the end. The good news is that after this moment there is no time and we will soon see each other again, this time not in Australia or Latvia, but in heaven.
I am glad that we still managed to talk at the end of last year. I wish we had done it more often.
Thank you and will miss you.

Scott we are going to miss you dreadfully. You were the kindest, most sensitive and happy person, it was a privilege for us to share part of your life. We will always remember the fun we had with you and Ben growing up and Elizabeth. Our memories centre around your love of animals, cats, dogs, donkeys and even lemurs. You adored all animals as most sensitive, gentle people do. Go well dear Scott.
All our love,
Maree, James, Naomi and Lauren.

You are a wonderful friend. Very loyal and generous. I loved hearing your stories about the ocean that was your true home. We will miss you Scotty.
