Hi Guppie, my thought are with you and your family with the passing of Annie.
I haven't seen you two since I left Ski Rider near on 15 years ago but you both remained in my thoughts. What a time I had there that will never be forgotten .
I can still see Annie standing in the Dining room looking at the clock as I rush into the kitchen after a night of enjoying glacier ice, golden smee and Guppies extreme.
I am proud to say that Annie never returned my orange juice glasses in the 8 winters I done with you guys.

My thoughts are with Annie’s Family, Friends and Ski Rider Crew members who love her so much. It only feels like yesterday (1998 but who’s counting) when I arrived at Ski Rider as a fresh-faced kid not knowing much about the outside world. I remember a couple of times in that season that I wanted to chuck it in and go home but Annie’s intense laundry counselling sessions were always the therapy that I needed. She called a spade a shovel and when she was in a mischievous mood, that cheeky grin of hers was so damn infectious that it guaranteed that whatever she was up to, you wanted to be on her side when it all went down!
Given the age I was, and the three consecutive seasons I spent there, I’ve always felt that and always will feel that Annie and Peter were my parents away from home. I look back to that time and I can’t help but feel that they had some say in the man that I’ve become. So thank you Annie for being you and for those invaluable Laundry Sessions. I miss and will continue to miss you until one day we meet up again to do the sheets and towels for Jesus. Now there’s a guy who likes his whites to be white!!
