Dearest Thia Yana –
You have been part of our family from the time you were a schoolgirl. The Love between you and your husband - Panayioti - blossomed during your very early teens and lasted decades.
You will forever be part of so many memories … of playing "TOMBULA" every New Year's Eve at Rozelle ... at stuffing Red, Black and Blue BIC pens into their respective boxes ... at gathering at Rozelle to celebrate Easter with a huge pile of coloured eggs, only to find they had already been cracked by Georgina ... at the songs and wonderful family gatherings at your home that was ALWAYS open and welcoming to us all ... at the way you screamed at me and Thio Panayioti when we accidentally threw your best knife into the river at Moree after cutting up the 14 rabbits we hunted, and how we had to walk through the swamp water the following morning to get it back for you … … how your screaming voice would cut through solid rock whenever we kids would misbehave … how in the early years our two homes had a connecting door and so we grew up in TWO homes … how your home on the corner of our street was always open and always welcoming … how your home was also home to so many others from our family like cousin Nasso, Thio Arsene and your own mother and father
You were always kind and welcoming and you are now together with you beloved Panayioti.
Your nephew - Thanasi.
