Dear Helen
I saw that Annette has left you and wanted to send a message of sympathy. I have fond memories of a fine woman, capable of a bit of cheekiness, balanced and genuine. I am glad that you had a happy life together and hope that those memories sustain you in the time ahead. While I would never presume to speak for Claudia and Jean Marie, I know that they had much affection for you both and would have remembered Annette as I do so I will include them in my tribute. As you say goodbye at her service, I will pause in my mountains garden and send good memories and kind wishes down to you on the South Coast.
