I remember camping on Mount Scanzi back in 1969 to 71.
Peter was one of life's gentlemen. He allowed us to enjoy his piece of paradise. My memories include drinking pristine water from the stream next to where we pitched our tents.
Plus, Peter had a horse. A brumby that he raised from a foal. Sugar was a sweet well mannered horse for Peter, but if anyone else approached her yard she turned into a snorting, bucking beast that scared us kids away every time.
You are missed my friend Peter.

Just wanted to remember Peter as a lovely gentleman. Always remember my family and myself going down to the farm to visit him and having lots of fun. Peter my brother posted a photo of us down there at one time. Thinking of his family but knowing that Peter is happy now free from pain and worry. Annie Bishop
Peter will always be part of me, he taught me many things, to milk a cow, to ride a horse, to shoot a rifle, to catch a rabbit and to drive a tractor. He will be missed by everybody that knew him.
