Maggie was gentle and kind, capable and intelligent. She and John welcomed me into their lives, and a spontaneous visit to Aldgate was always welcomed with fresh cheese scones and tea. I was promised her famous shortbread recipe once I married her son, but they never tasted as good as those made by her.
She was thrilled when her grandchildren arrived in 2003 & 2005 and loved to spoil Josh and Freya, not with bad food ever, but with love and care.
We miss dear Gran, rest in peace.

I met Margaret through her sister Eileen. She exuberantly showed so much love, care & kindness to others. A smiling happy face! She will be sorely missed by those who loved her. Margaret was especially loved & adored by her siblings Eileen & Jack who due to circumstances sadly did not get to see her in recent years. A beautiful woman RIP..
