I was fortunate to work with Angus for about two years, he was the kind of person you want to work with, always up for the challenge, kind, smart, fun. I don't think I ever saw him upset with anyone or anything. I learned a lot from him, from his right attitude and and way of looking at things. He certainly achieved his full potential in life, something not everyone can do. We will miss you mate.

So many of my core childhood memories include Angus, whether we were on the basin, camping, at the snow or in Noosa we were always laughing and having so much fun. Angus’ smile and positive attitude was infectious and he will be missed by everyone who was lucky enough to have known him. Sending love to everyone x

Angus was a great cycling buddy, cheerful and always had an ear and friendly curiosity for wahtever you felt like talking about during and after the ride. He cleverly timed the group rides on Friday mornings for his off Friday and his good company over coffee made it really easy to loose track of time sometimes resulting in a rush to make my first work meeting but never regretting the time spent. Angus seemed to be really good at bringing people together and by result eliminated common boundaries like age and roles at work etc. At 50 I am the elder of the cycling group on most rides and Angus the youngest, I will miss him a lot as will all that had the pleasure of knowing him. He certainly lived life bright adding to all the lives around him positively in a really nice way.

Angus was a bright and genuine person who was kind, giving, and adventurous. When I think of Angus I think of his love of the ocean and the outdoors, and it was usually in this context that I spent time with him - whether snorkelling, wake boarding, or kitesurfing. I'll never forget the summers boosting over the waves, 'getting air', or making 'expeditions' up wind to the inlet at Husky.

I was lucky enough to have met Angus back in 2014 during the college years when we lived on campus. I had since moved up to Brisbane and one night I happened to attend a football game at the Gabba in 2021. I went by myself and was blown away when I saw that Angus and his friends were sat in the seats booked next to mine. It was pure coincidence, and I was overjoyed to have reconnected with someone I hadn't seen in a long time, especially Angus. He welcomed me into his friend group and we realised we'd only been living a few streets away. Angus was such a genuine, fun-loving and compassionate person and it was so nice to know after all these years he was still just as bubbly and kind.
Sending my deepest condolences to Angus' family, and the close-knit friends he's made throughout his life. He will certainly be missed. I'm sending my biggest, warmest hugs today.

For Bella. Our love surrounds you today as your farewell your beloved Angus. Some of us met Angus and some of us didn’t, but we all witnessed the magic that happened when two matching spirits found each other. We are brokenhearted for you.
For Angus’ family and Bella’s family who adopted him as one of their own. Please accept our sympathy and prayers in these most difficult times.

Farewell Angus.
I always enjoyed our usually humorous conversations about kite boarding, boats, Mini Mokes and more. I admired how you managed to find the balance between adventure and prudence. You were capable, smart and good company, physically able to match any of your peers but never arrogant or insensitive. We need more like you.

Eighteen months ago we were blessed when Georgia, Greg and Angus became our neighbours and it wasn't long before we became friends. As it is with townhouse living, you share common property and see each other often. We regularly chatted with Angus when he was packing up for an adventure or spending time with Bella. Angus was always smiling and taking an interest in what was happening in our lives. Our hearts are broken for Tobi, Duncan, Georgia, Greg, Bella and the extended Craig family. We only knew Angus for a short time however he will be forever remembered. We are so terribly sorry for your loss.

I will always remember Angus as such a lovely, kind-hearted, fun and inclusive person. I still can’t believe that this tragedy happened and I send all my love and condolences to your family and loved ones. Thank you for always bringing so much energy, joy and positivity wherever you went and for always treating people with such respect and kindness. I remember going to This That festival with you and all of us had so much fun and you were definitely MVP that weekend. I remember last New Year’s Eve when we all spent the night together, you supplied all the boardgames and we all laughed so hard at everyone’s artistic interpretations of various words. As the new year approached, we all sat together sharing our dreams and wishes for the future and our New Year’s resolutions, none of us knowing that this year would be your last. My heart broke when I heard of your passing and I’m still in utter disbelief that such a beautiful soul’s life could be cut so short. Just know that your energy still lives on and I will always dance that bit harder, hold people that bit closer and enjoy each and every single day because of you. Rest in peace, Angus, we all love you and will never forget you.

Angus was a friend of mine. We worked together at Blackwater and he helped me navigate the waters of Reliability while I was on Secondment. He was a true gentleman and scholar who wouldn't allow circumstances or stressful situations undermine his values and purpose. I never heard Angus swear or lose his cool and for me, he was a person you could draw inspiration and strength from. Gutted I was and am and resolved to be a little more like Angus to my family, friends, and colleagues and hopefully pass on his values to others.

Angus will forever be remembered as the fun loving kid I watched grow up, into an amazing human being with a heart of gold. At our last Christmas together, Angus along with Bella, taking Max and I on the boat. He was pointing out fish to Max and making sure he felt safe the whole way. He had a calm way about him that made everyone feel at ease in his presence. Max being at such a young age, there are not many people he feels comfortable with, but Angus was one of them. Although we can’t be with you tomorrow, our thoughts will be with you. Love always Kimberly and Max

I had the privilege of working alongside Angus for couple of years, and I can say without hesitation that he was one of the most talented engineers. But more than that, he was a great human being. His kindness and compassion were evident in everything he did, from the way he treated his colleagues to the way he interacted with his family and friends. I know he had a heart of gold, and he was always willing to go above and beyond to help others. He was a true leader, always willing to share his knowledge and expertise with those around him. He brought out the best in everyone he worked with, and he made a lasting impression on all of us. Although he is no longer with us, his legacy will live on in the lives he touched and the work he accomplished. We will always remember him as a great engineer and a kind and generous soul. Rest in peace, my friend. You will be missed, but never forgotten.

We were so lucky to spend time with Angus last year at a family reunion in the Uk for a wedding, what a lovely time we all had.
From a little nephew who greeted me on my first ever visit to Australia in 1994 to the little boy who only ate bacon, you grew up to be a handsome and tall young man who always made the effort to come and see us when we visited Sanctuary Point. Angus, you were not only a work colleague but also a friend, and I will miss you a lot. May your family find comfort in the wonderful memories you shared with them. I leave you with a bible verse that comforts me… “Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Be it the countless festivals and social events, camping trips, trivia nights, or family dinners at William Street, I can’t help but smile when I think of Gussy. He was always the life of the party, and had a real knack of bringing people together. I’ll miss you always bud.

I never knew Angus or the family but my heart felt condolences are sent to you all. This was such a tragic and unpredicted event .A night of love and laughter turned to disaster. A night we all will never forget and the feeling of pain felt as a parent having to hear the news of such a surreal moment and tragic news is heart breaking. I can only imagine what you are all feeling and I wish I could do something more to help ease the pain. Take care, be strong and know our thoughts are with you all at this sad time.RIP sweet soul, spread your wings and fly high!!

I worked with Angus over the last 2 years. While it doesn’t seem like a long time it doesn’t take that long to know how genuine, kind, good hearted person he was. Angus didn’t have a bad bone in him. Life is unfair but as a beliver i truly belive that the fella up there chooses people like Angus to be with him as its a better place compared to the cruel world we live in. Rest in piece buddy and look over us and pray for us. You will be dearly missed

Angus was a kind and loving person, he was lovely to everyone he ever encountered and never hurt a soul.
He had a warm and welcoming smile and was always cheerful and positive.
It was a pleasure to have met Angus at Uni. A devastating loss, may he rest in peace and put in a good word for the rest of us in heaven.
God Bless Angus.

It was Angus’ birthday and we were celebrating with drinks and games at our home in North Wollongong. As classic as uni gets, we were all broke and useless at gift giving. A tradition amongst close friends was to deliver a cake at a random time of the night and that cake was made with whatever could be found in the kitchen. Angus received a “delicious” cake made of crackers, melted marshmallows and sprinkles. As classically happy as Angus was, he was so giddy to receive his makeshift cake. We spent the remainder of the night dancing in our townhouse, listening to good tunes and having hilarious conversations. Words can’t explain how wonderful and considerate Angus was. This is one of a thousand memories of Angus that is held dear to our hearts.

I am glad I got to experience this beautiful sunset over Yeppoon from Middle Island with my mate and work colleague, Angus Craig. This was one of our first adventures together with many more planned in the future. Your legacy is going to be hard to replace, you touched the hearts of many. Everyone is grieving with this tough loss and I feel for your parents, sister and closer family. Rest easy my friend, you will be missed.

Angus, you were one of the best. I’m never not going to miss you and your goofy smile and your intelligence. Thanks for teaching me how to make tea, for always being the more positive person in the room and for your sense of adventure. I have so many beautiful memories to draw upon, I’m so thankful I do because I will continue to remember each and every one. I’ll miss you my little, not to little, bother.

One of the best and happiest men I have ever had the pleaser of not only playing football with but calling friend. He was a ray of sunshine wherever he went and will be sadly missed. The world is worse off for losing him. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.

I remember the excitement on graduation day at UOW! I was so very proud of both of my boys Shaun and Angus. What a fun few years you had at Uni! To my dear friends Duncan, Tobi and Georgia I wish I could take away the pain of loosing your gorgeous kind Angy. He will remain in our hearts for ever and we will remember his quirky ways of making us laugh. Taken too soon Angus, you have left a huge hole in our lives.

The last time I seen Angus he was trotting down the Main Street of Thredbo in his fabulous rainbow retro snowfit with the biggest smile on his face. The brightest of sparks; I am so grateful for the hugs, laughs, smiles, dances and memories made, know you are in all our hearts
