This man was a giant amongst us. Taken too away too soon
Barry, between you and Lorraine, you gave me a sense of love and security during my turbulent teenager years and for this I can never thank you enough.
I will miss coming by and seeing smiling face. Always happy to see me, the years melting away and coming in as we go in for a cuppa and biscuits.
So many fond memories come to mind when I think of our times together, most times sitting in the sidelines during some Matt event;) He was very proud man when it comes to his son.
A constant memory, coming down and visiting you guys in Ulladulla were some highlights. Matt doing his apprenticeship on a Saturday, leaving you and me with half a day of mischief. We would travel down to the local coles for cheese and bacon rolls and a drink. This may have been only slightly after breakfast, and maybe not close to morning tea, but always a “don’t tell Lorraine” I guess it’s out of the bag now. We would sit around and have a laugh, chat about life and all matter of things.
Always a delight to be around, and generous with your time. I’m going to truely miss your big heart and the chauffeur quality road trips I mean truely, how clean can a car get
