I have known Carole for such a long time and although we were separated by distance, we never lost touch. Whenever we did catch up face to face, she was always the same Carole and our friendship hadn't changed. I have very good memories of the fun we had together, with Marcia, during our somewhat intrepid travels in Europe in the 1960s, and especially when we worked as 'extras' during the making of the first Italian Job movie in Italy. Carole was one hundred per cent dependable, very witty and a wonderful companion and friend. My best wishes to her family; you have lost a real gem. Annie Iredale

My dear friend Carole and I met when we were in our teens, we had a strong connection and had many things in common. Carole actually got the job that I also applied for, but 6 months later I applied again and we worked together having both left boring office jobs. Carole was always a fun person to be with and we had many adventures travelling through many countries with Anne another work friend. Carole was a bright, energetic person with a great sense of humour. She was always a good friend and we kept our friendship throughout the ups and downs of life. I will always think of her as a good friend and will never forget her. Marcia

Carole was vibrant, fit and a really good friend. With Marcia, Carole and I worked at Vet. Physiology for a number of years and remained friends after that time. Marcia and I visited her a occasions when she was in Gerringong. We always reminisced about old times, had a great lunch then went shopping. I'll miss those occasions.
