George has been the best neighbour and friend for 43 years. His quiet humour has lifted many a day. Although a staunch Everton fan he was happy to dress in Celtic colours and attend live matches with his mate Charles and other family members. When George started his final journey the sadness of said friends was still lightened by his often swift humour. Over the years his artistic skills have supported Janet when attending a drawing class in the wake of the death of her youngest son. He has supported Alison in sharing sculpting skills and materials. A quiet member of the community who supported many around him from walking clubs, to sailing for the disabled. or singing, and a regular member of the Catholic church. We miss you George
