Micky Blue Eyes….One of the many occasions sitting outside Jundi rooms sharing a beer after a hard days grind. On this one particular evening we had the pleasure of 2 lovely ladies join our Speno Team. You struck up a conversation with one of the gorgeous looking ladies who became captivated with your blue eyes like mesmerised. I thought hello Mick’s in here. Micky, it was a pleasure knowing you and working closely with you during our time at Speno.
You were a straight shooter, who looked out for others. An example of this was when we stopped to help a stranded vehicle on the Karijini road in the north west where you were able to repair the radiator hose and get the family back into town safely.
You would always talk of your boys Kaine and Tyler and nights out with your Dad at the RSL. Your love for them and your extended family was not lost on me.
Have a beer for me up there.
