Edel was such a positive role model to me, as a junior staff member of The Danish Hotdog in Canberra in the late 80's, and early 90's.
As an impressionable, insecure teenage girl, Edel taught me the value of hard work, and being financially independent.
Edel was caring, wise to the world, and had incredible style.
Edel was my hero, and because of her I went into the world with the knowledge that I could do whatever I wanted, as long as I worked hard.
