Dear Tante Hannie, Anja, Jelle and Joost, wishing you peace as you grieve for the wonderful Oom Wim. He loved, welcomed and brought so much joy and warmth in our visits to Croziers Road. Lieve tante Hannie, Anja en Peter, Jelle en Freya, Joost en Kirsty en kinderen. Gecondoleerd met dit enorme verlies. Denk aan alle mooie tijden die jullie met elkaar hebben gehad. Ik ben erg blij dat ik 3 jaar geleden nog even bij jullie heb kunnen zijn. We hebben een fijne tijd met elkaar gehad. Ook al is de afstand qua km groot het voelt niet zo. Lieve Hannie, kinderen en kleinkinderen, Gecondoleerd met dit grote verlies. Wim was mijn oudste broer en grote steun en toeverlaat van kinds af aan. Ik heb altijd op hem kunnen bouwen. We hebben veel tijd met elkaar doorgebracht. Ook nadat jullie naar Australië zijn gegaan hebben we veel contact gehouden. Ik voelde me altijd welkom in Berry en heb alleen maar goede herinneringen er aan overgehouden. Veel sterkte en liefs, Freek

Alle aandacht voor jullie Hannie,Anja,Jelle,Joost en jullie verdere familie. Gecondoleerd en heel veel sterkte gewenst. Wij zullen Wim zeer missen,vooral de gezellige Skypegesprekken. Wij hebben mooie gebeurtenissen in herinnering zoals het bezoek in 2000 aan jullie, Wim R.I.P. Liefs Corrie en Ton.

All our love goes out to Hannie, Anja, Jelle, and Joost and their families on this sad occasion. Looking back...there was always fond memories of the time we visited our cousins in Berry. What stands out to me is the warmth and generosity that Oom Wim and Tante Hannie always gave us. It was always great to see those trays of strawberries! However, it was just spending time with Oom Wim and everyone that I so enjoyed. Despite making the big trip over there. I attribute my own start as a strawberry farmer to Oom Wim (and of course, everyone else) and I had strived to be as good a farmer as he was. I will always remember his friendly smile and greetings. Thank you for being a part of my life and for creating such memories that will be with me forever. Love Michael, Nicole, and Emma.

Big hugs to you all. What a hard working, kind and generous man, and a great friend to the Smit family. Wim was always ready to lend a hand. He and Hanie helped us move into Greenwell Point. We had a great time whenever we visited their beautiful home at Jaspers Brush. We pray God will comfort you all in your sorrow.
